Challenge
This home in Fairfax, VA was having a sun room added on and wanted to make sure it would be comfortable all year round. The general contractor contacted Comfenergy to make sure the insulation was done right! Options were given for several types of insulation and the homeowner was given the choice.
Solution
Closed cell foam spray insulation was used to insulate the roof line of this sun room. We filled in every gap and made it air tight, and still meet the local code requirements. Now this homeowner can use the sun room year round and be comfortable. Spray foam insulation provides a complete air seal, and the R value you are looking for.
