Attic Inspection Issues in Leesburg, VA

Challenge

These Leesburg, VA homeowners called Comfenergy to inspect their attic. They had recently moved in and the home inspector suggested an inspection by an insulation company to see if the home insulation needed to be deeper.

Solution

During our inspection we found a myriad of issues: Completely bare spots of drywall in the attic leading to hot/cold spots below, air gaps in the tops of walls big enough to drop pennies through to the hollow interior walls, bathroom exhaust fans that terminated in the attic allowing in hot humid air that was causing mold growth, and finally gable vents in the attic that had been covered up by the previous homeowner.

Nothing we can't handle! Comfenergy to the rescue once again!!
