Cold Bay Windows in Fairfax, VA

Challenge

These Fairfax, VA homeowners were complaining that their beautiful bay window was cold and that it was making the living room cold too. After a free in home evaluation, we determined there was no insulation beneath it! This was allowing cold air to enter under the window and flow into the home.

Solution

Our patented SilverGlo foam board insulation was installed under the window. We then air sealed the edges and gaps with one part foam spray. Finally, new trim boards were installed to cover the foam board. Now, the family can enjoy thier living room and bay window seat all year round.
