Challenge
This Hamilton, VA homeowner wanted to convert his attic into a living space. An "attic encapsulation" is where we use spray foam to completely seal and insulate the attic. It then becomes an "indoor" living space. The particular home had the HVAC in the attic so it was an even better solution and easier for them to condition this space when we finished.
Solution
Closed cell foam spray was used to seal and insulate the roof deck, soffits, and both gable ends of the attic space. Now, the Hamilton, VA homeowner has an attic that he can turn into living space... Comfenergy does it again!
