Installing a Sump Pump Exhaust in Alexandria, VA

Challenge

This Alexandria, VA homeowner had a crawl space with a water infiltration problem during periods of excessive rains.

Solution

A water managemenrt system including the installation of smart pipe and a "Super Sump" sump pump was required to manage the water during these periods of high rain.

The exhaust line for the sump pump needed to go out the side wall of the home, where it exhuasted through a burred pipe leading to a "pop-up" fixture on the customer's lawn.

Sump pump "Super Sump" installed under Cleanspace Liner in this conditioned Alexandria, VA crawl space.

Our technician Irvin fits the pipe within the crawl space to make sure we get the water out with as few elbows as possible. He uses J hooks and other specialty fasteners to assure that the pipe will remain silent when in use.

Exhaust pipe is configured and glued in place.

Comfenergy crew member Sergio prepares the trench to get the pipe away from the home...

And Anthony makes sure underground outlet is going to function properly.
