CleanSpace Drainage Matting System
This is a great photo of the CleanSPace Drainage Matting System. This layer of bubbly brown matting is what will protect the waterproofing system from the outside world. This will allow moisture, critters, and soil some wiggle room, while protecting the CleanSpace Liner from any penetrative objects. Another bonus is the cushion it provides for the knees of anyone in the crawlspace!
CleanSpace Lining vs. Drainage Matting
This image simply displays the two products, CleanSpace Liner and CleanSpace Drainage Matting) being laid. The brown matting it the barrier from the earth, and the white lining is the barrier from the vapor. CleanSpace Liner is a 7 ply polyethylene barrier that keeps the moisture out. You can see here that it also will go up over the cement block walls, another entry point for unwanted moisture.
Fully Waterproofed Crawl Space
Here we have a completely waterproofed crawl space! All there is left to do is insulation!
Wall Insulation
As you can see in this photo, the walls have been insulated with spray foam. The combination of all of these things will leave you with much lower humidity, warmer floors, and a crawlspace that is mold and mildew free, leaving your home more comfortable and hypoallergenic!
