Photo Album: Leesburg VA Attic Insulation Upgrade

This Leesburg, VA home was suffering from an improperly insulated attic. This was having a negative impact on the comfort level of the home. When our sales professional Jonathan went out to the property to perform a full home inspection, he determined that the best course of action to end the discomfort would be to properly air seal the attic and add new higher quality insulation. The primary cause of the home discomfort discomfort was uncontrolled unconditioned air that was being affected by outside temperatures seeping into the attic and then leaking into the living spaces below. After the homeowners agreed to Jonathan's solution our service crews went out to get to work on the home. The crews started by removing and disposing of the old insulation. After that, they applied ZypFoam air sealant to the attic floors to prevent any leaks. Finally, the crew installed the new TruSoft cellulose insulation to keep the home comfortable year-round.  This will create better air quality in the home and help to reduce the energy costs to heat and cool it.
