Photo Album: Manassas VA Home Spray Foam and Panel Insulation

These Manassas Va homeowners were experiencing comfort issues in their home.  Rooms were too hot in the summer and varied in temperature from one area of the home to the next, even with the HVAC system running cold air.  The homeowners called us for help and our Home Performance Sales Pro Stephen went out to perform a free whole home inspection to try and narrow down the cause.  After checking several areas of the home, Stephen was able to use a thermal imaging camera to identify where the temperature fluctuations were coming from.  He determined that the home had a need to insulate the space in the walls above the ceiling dry wall.  Several rooms that were primarily facing the sun for most of the day needed to be insulated better and air sealed to keep not only external temperatures, but external air out of the home.  Our production team went on site and were able to carefully cut out ceiling drywall sections in order to access the areas that needed to be spray foam insulated or fitted with Silver Glow insulation panels.  Zyp Foam was also used to seal up any cracks or spaces where air could pass.  This air sealing helped to keep outside air from coming in and conditioned inside air from escaping the home.  All together this service will help to make the home more comfortable and will reduce the energy cost to run the HVAC system.
