Photo Album: Front Royal VA Attic Transformation Insulation and Cat Walk Decking

This Front Royal VA homeowner was unhappy with the comfort level of their home year round. Too cold in the winter and too hot in the summer, with higher than they liked energy bills, they called Comfenergy to see if we could help. Our Home Performance Sales Pro Matt visited with the homeowner and was able to find several options that could help fix the problem. The customer choose to go with the construction of a Super Deck which is an insulated attic floor with barriers to keep the Tru Soft cellulose insulation over top of the rest of the attic floor. The attic floor was first air sealed after the old insulation was removed and then had the Tru Soft blown in. This all created a well insulated and air sealed attic flooring with ample storage floor space. The rooms and living space below the attic will not be more comfortable year round and the energy costs for the home will be reduced.
