Photo Album: Centreville VA Pest Filled Attic Solution

This homeowner in Centreville VA had a pest infestation in their attic.  They called us to see how we could help clear, treat and prevent further infestation issues.  Our Home Performance Sales Pro and Sales Manager Stephen inspected the space and designed a project to help.  Removal of the old insulation which was soaked in urine and had animal droppings in it was the start of the work.  Having animal waste in your attic can impact the quality of the air that you breath in your home.  Wooden deck boards were also removed in order to be replaced with new, clean boards.  Once the attic was cleaned and sprayed with MoldX Botanical Spray and then fogged with disinfectant, air sealing was done with Zyp Foam.  The pests entry and exit ways into the attic were sealed up and covered and then filled with Copper Mesh which deters rodents.  after everything was treated properly, Tru Soft Cellulose Insulation was blown in to fill the space.
