Photo Album: Vienna VA Rockwool Insulation - Basement Walls

This Vienna VA homeowner had previously used our services to treat their attic, air sealing and insulating it in order to make the top floor of their home more comfortable and energy efficient.  When they decided to finish their basement they called us to help with that space as well.  Our team removed some existing materials before using spray foam insulation to air seal the rim joist of the home.  This would help with uncontrolled air flow in and out of the basement.  Rock Wool insulation was used in the open wall frames to help keep the space conditioned and help with noise reduction.  Other areas of the basement were treated with moisture barriers and insulation panels as needed.  Now their entire home will have improved performance, comfort and they will have much lower energy bills.
