Photo Album: Fredericksburg Virginia Attic Insulation

This homeowner in Fredericksburg Virginia wanted to see how they could make the top floor of their home more comfortable year round. it was too hot in the summer and too cold in the winter. Our Certified Home Performance Sales Pro Jesus visited and was able to design a project to help deliver the results they wanted. Removal of the minimal insulations in the attic, air sealing, building a damning wall around the attic entrance and then blowing in Tru Soft Cellulose insulation was the plan. This home will now hold in the conditioned air heated or cooled by the HVAC system, making the top floor and rest of the house more comfortable along with lowering the energy bills.

Insufficient Insulation

Air Sealing

Zyp Foam is used to seal every crack and gaps where uncontrolled air flow was happening.

Mold Prevention

Our crew sprayed MoldX all over this attic before insulating. MoldX is a botanical based spray that helps reduce the presence of mold and organic growth.
