Tight N' True Duct Boot Encapsulation
Here we see the ductwork that runs through the attic. Ductwork in the attic always should be sealed and insulated. You can see the spray foam around the ends of the flex duct work, where it meets the boots, creating an airtight seal.
Encapsulated Main Trunk Line
The main trunk line of the duct system is encapsulated with 1" closed cell foam.
More Ductwork is Insulated with Spray Foam
Duct encapsulation and sealing joints and cracks in the ductwork can prevent air loss and help your HVAC system work more efficiently.
The Attic Floor is Insulated.
TruSoft Cellulose Insulation is blown in to insulate the attic floor. It is blown in to an R Value of 49.
This Attic is Now Ready for Any Weather Season
This attic is now properly sealed and insulated. These homeowners can now enjoy a more comfortable upper floor and save money on their energy bills.
