Attic Insulation Photo Album: Attic air seal and insulation in Leesburg
This home in Leesburg Va was not comfortable from room to room year-round. The homeowner called to have a free energy audit performed and it was determined that they would benefit from having several service options performed in the attic. The existing insulation was removed which allowed our team to air seal all of the small cracks and joints in the ceiling where conditioned air was escaping the home, into the attic, and outside. Here you can see several examples of small holes and cracks that were filled in with spray foam. Afterward, the ducts were insulated to help keep the air running through them at the desired temperature as it passes through. Last we filled the attic with blown insulation to help further keep the inside temperatures at the homeowner's preferred comfort level.
