Attic Insulation Photo Album: Insulation Upgrade and Air Seal - Aldie VA

This Aldie, VA home was suffering from a lack of air sealing and improper insulation. This had negative impact on the Comfort level of the home. When our sales professional Jonathan went out to the property to perform a full home inspection, he determined that the best course of action would be to air seal the attic and install new insulation. Jonathan explained to the homeowners that the primary cause of their discomfort was the unconditioned air seeping into the living space from the attic and the patchy insulation that was not providing adequate coverage. Then they installed the SilverGlo rigid foam insulation on the attic walls. After that, they applied ZypFoam air sealant to the seams in the floor and the SilverGlo panels. Finally, the crew Installed new TruSoft cellulose insulation to keep the home comfortable year-round.
