Attic Before
Different areas of the attic had different insulation stuffed in between the framing with gaps between that allowed air to move.
Attic Before
Insulation piles were ineffective in creating even insulation in this attic.
Attic Before
HVAC ducts suspended in air would be better insulated with certain points like joints and different turns insulated by spray foam and other long sections buried in Tru Soft cellulose insulation.

Attic Work in Progress
With old insulation removed, Zyp Foam is able to be used to seal all of the gaps and cracks in the attic surface that previously allowed air to escape from the rooms below.
Attic Work in Progress
With old insulation removed, Zyp Foam is able to be used to seal all of the gaps and cracks in the attic surface that previously allowed air to escape from the rooms below. Spray Foam was used to seal this HVAC joint, eliminating the ability for conditioned air to escape.
Attic Deck Wall
This wall was built around the attic hatch and platform. This allowed for someone to stand in the opening and still keep the Tru Soft cellulose insulation contained.
Radiant Barrier
The underside of the roof is covered with radiant barrier material to keep external radiant heat from impacting the attic temperature. This HVAC duct is covered with Spray Foam to contain the conditioned air inside so that it can be delivered to the rooms below to heat/cool them.
Spray Foam
This wall section of the attic was insulated with Spray Foam to both air seal and keep external temperatures from impacting the attic.

Cellulose Insulation
Tru Soft cellulose insulation was blown in to cover the attic surface and insulate the HVAC ducts now buried inside.

Cellulose Insualtion
The deck walls built by our team will keep the Tru Soft cellulose insulation contained and in place to properly insulate the attic.
