Attic Insulation Photo Album: Leesburg VA Home Comfort with Insulation and Air Control

This home in Leesburg VA had uncomfortable rooms with different temperatures from one area of the house to another. The room connected to the attic space above the garage was too cold in the winter and the laundry room of the home was too cold. Our Home Performance Sales Pro Carl visited the house and did a full inspection. He was able to offer several products and services to help improve each different area. Spray foam was used to seal up the rim joists of the home, keeping external air from coming in and improving the air quality of the home. Silver Glo panel insulation was used to seal up several thinly insulated spots in the wall of the attic and Zyp Foam was used to air seal the cracks and gaps in the attic floor. The whole attic was then filled with Tru Soft cellulose insulation to the needed level for the home.

With thin spots of insulation on the attic floor and areas in the frame of the wall that were allowing for air to move, this space would be improved by added insulation and Silver Glo panels in the wall.
