Blown-in Insulation - Soffit Air Baffles- Leesburg, VA
In a ventilated attic assembly it is very important to have attic soffit baffles installed to prevent the new, deeper insulation from blocking the soffit vents. This is done with Accuaire soffit air baffles. They are stapled between the joists and fold over the top plate of the exterior wall to allow for deeper insulation, yet still have good ventilation through the soffits.
