This beautiful Leesburg, VA home had huge utility bills int he winter, and lots of hot/cold spots on the top floor.
The attic insulation was removed so that the attic floor could be air sealed using one part spray foam.
The top floor had a ton of knee-walls that produced hot/cold spots and allowed heat to escape from the home. Spray foam was used to air seal and insulate these areas.
The connections from the flexible ducting to the register boots all leaked. They were also sealed using spray foam.
Attic storage deck "dams" are used to keep the new R60 TruSoft cellulose insulation from falling onto the storage deck.
