Fixing a Quality Problem

Challenge

We had been paid by the customer to protect the pipes from freezing.  We found that the installation crew had not installed the project in accordance with our Dr. Energy Saver designed solution.  We had to respond by returning to the work to uninstall and then re-install the work properly.

Solution

We removed the work that the original crew had installed to get back to a clean installation.

SilverGlo was used to "Box the pipe" providing for a warm upper surface (sub floor) and an air tight insulated chamber for the pipes to reside in.  This essentially moves the pipes inside of the building envelope.

Spray Polyurethane was then used to complete the air sealing of the pipe chamber and also added additional insulation to the assembly.

We found a mistake in this project and took action to correct the issue promptly with our dedicated Service Team.  One of the reasons that you would want to hire Comfenergy is that we have a Dedicated Service Team and the capability of fixing problems so that you do not need to live with them.  This is often not the case with other service providers in our Industry.
