The rooms over the garage of this Purcellville, VA home were freezing in the winter, and hot in the summer.
Solution
There was much more work to be done here, but the homeowner "right sized" the job to only have us dense pack the garage ceiling with TruSoft cellulose insulation.

The rooms just behind our truck in this picture are located above the garage. Many times these rooms are hot in the summer and freezing cold in the winter. This can be fixed by Comfenergy!
Protecting the personal contents of the garage before work begins.
A swath of drywall is cut out so that the garage ceiling can be dense packed with TruSoft cellulose insulation (above the fiberglass batts). The fiberglass falls away from the sub-flooring above losing its ability to provide a good thermal barrier.
The dense packing tube is inserted below the sub-flooring and above the fiberglass batts to fill that hot/cold void of air.
