Production setting up for crawl space encapsulation
Our Comfenergy production crew gets ready to encapsulate this vented crawl space with a dirt floor
Dimple Matting is installed first
The vents are sealed up and a dimpled, plastic drainage matting is installed on the floor to create a thermal break.
Terrablock floor insulation is installed.
On top of the dimple matting, Terrablock foam floor insulation is installed.
CleanSpace liner is installed
A heavy duty 20 mil thick CleanSpace liner is installed across the floor and up the walls.
Closed cell spray foam
Closed cell spray foam is installed to the top of the rim joists.
Insulated poured basement walls
Polyiso board (Thermax) is installed on the crawl space walls.
