Soundproofing Photo Album: Ashburn VA Office Building noise reduction

Comfort comes in many forms and can be impacted in many ways. This Ashburn VA office was uncomfortable for the staff because it was TOO LOUD! Our sales pro Carl Depner was able to identify a solution that would allow for a quieter working environment and didn't have to shut the business down to have the project completed. Our production team entered the drop ceiling area and installed materials to reduce the sound from the HVAC and other utility systems. A sound barrier can provide a significantly better experience for any office space that has drop ceilings or space above where sound can easily travel from one place to another or bounce off uninsulated walls or ceilings.

Sound reduction materials were used to cover this unit, greatly reducing the noise produced.

Panels were removed and then covered with a sound barrier material.

Here you can see what the drop ceiling looks like after installation. In addition to sound reduction, this will help to control the environment in the rooms below with less air being able to freely escape.

A lot of our production teamwork includes dirty crawl spaces, nasty attics, and extreme temperatures. Working in an office space was a welcome change of scenery.
