The Source of The Issue
Here is a photo of the source of the issue; the attic! We will seal this up with a David Lewis Hatch Cover towards the end!
The Other Side of the Issue
Here is the other side of the hatch cover we will be insulating! You can also see some of the old insulation we will be clearing out!
Out With The Old
All of the attic floor is the old fiberglass insulation that was there upon our arrival. We will be removing all of this before replacing it!
More Fiberglass
Here is some more of the original fiberglass insulation which we will be removing!
Continuing Clean Up
Here is a photo after moving the old insulation out, and we are almost done cleaning out!
The Insulation
Here is where you can see the spray foam used to insulate the attic walls. There will be at least 2 inches of foam applied to make sure the home is properly insulated!
TruSoft Insulation
Once the spray foam is applied, it is time to install the blow-in insulation which is called TruSoft.
TrueSoft: A Close Up
This is what the TruSoft looks like up close, you can also see the measuring stick we use to make sure the correct amount is blown-in.
