Spray Foam Insulation Photo Album: Insulating Knee Walls in Alexandria, VA

A homeowner in Alexandria, VA wanted to make her home more comfortable year round, especially the addition they had put onto the home. Typically, builders insulate with fiberglass batts between the studs, in combination with blown insulation between the floor joists. When air flows through the soffit vents, the insulation is weakened over time and often falls, offering no protection. Applying closed-cell spray foam along the roof deck, joists, windows, and soffit vents will completely seal-off outdoor air from entering the home.
