A multilevel attic wall is when a wall of the attic faces towards a higher ceiling. This is in a master bedroom in Springfield in April when its not even hot out yet. The wall from the builder has fiberglass batts hung on this wall to the attic. This doesn't work because there is no air barrier to stop hot attic air from hitting the drywall. The fiberglass batt was rated for a six side box like an exterior wall. By putting our Dr. Energy SilverGlo rigid foam product over the batt insulation and air sealing the joints. This master bedroom will be comfortable all year round.
