Attic Insulation - Why are there lines are on the roof of this building in Ashford at 7:30am?
The heat coming from the building is leaking up through the ceiling into the attic. That heat is melting the frost off of the roof where it is just plywood. The roof joists are acting as insulation and keeping the frost from melting at those points. I did not get into the building, but my guess on the horizontal shading is most likely a vaulted of coffered ceiling...
